The North East Regional Fencing association is a member led organisation, based in the North East, and part of England Fencing. The Association’s committee: · Oversees the Whole Sport Plan for Fencing in the North East · Appoints representatives to England Fencing national committee · Arranges or facilitates Junior and Senior competitions locally · Acts as a Forum for promoting members interests · Appoints selectors and managers for regional representative teams · Acts as a source of information about the sport, affiliated clubs, coaching and development. · Works closely with Durham, Northumbria and Newcastle universities · Promotes Child Protection in accordance with British Fencing National Policy
